I thought of that too, but just too lazy to make that happens.   8)

libtabe does not assume it always gets a lexicon to work with, so that is 
also the default lexicon, where every term is just one character long.  I 
will change the design when I work on the new version with a new design (Unicode?
  )

Others will be taken into account as well.
