Idea for a feature of Chinese input methods that maybe no one has
thought of [or more probably only I don't know about yet]: when the
cursor is on top of a character that one notices is wrong, and then
hits a certain key sequence, the computer could then prompt with some
alternate choices. Often these choices are only offered upon initial
character entry, but when editing an old document one has to delete
the bad character and then enter its pinyin all over again. This new
'fix bad character I pointed to' feature could assume 'I got the
sound/cangjie/wuxiami right but picked the wrong homophone
[tong2yin1zi4], please give me another chance to pick the right
character without having to key it in again.' Anyway, I give the
idea, you program the feature :-)
