直覺: 現行 xcin 的 Over-the-spot 跟本不需要 application 的 support (除了要有
setup option 外), 而 On-the-spot 則需要 gtk-library 的 support.  但大部份的
application 仍然不需特別地 support On-the-spot, 麻煩的事應該都在 gtk-library
搞好了.

倒過來, over-the-spot 可以 "統一" 所有 X applications, 但這個和 gtk 像是有點
格格不入.  例如 theme 無法更改 over-the-spot 的 window drawing.  而
on-the-spot 則可以使所有的 gtk application 有同樣的 extensibility.

個人意見: GTK 跟本不用決定用 on-the-spot 還是 over-the-spot.  把 default 定
成 on-the-spot:over-the-spot:root, 然後讓用戶自行修改便可以了.
