Integration with KDE/Netscape <textinput>

Gidday there,

	I'm sorry, I don't speak chinese, and I'm trying to setup my
MDK7.2 box for my room mate from Tianjin.  He's used to chinese under
windows, but I won't let anyone run windows on my computer :^).

	Anyway, I have managed to get KDE displaying GB2312 throughout
(but it's sooo small), and I have xcin running, so that I can enter pin
yin (I only know stupid things, like my name.  ) into small text input
forms on Netscape 4.7?.  However, the large multi line, text area boxes
don't seem to be able to display what I type.
	
	I can type some characters, and then 'select' the area, and paste
into a window that can display gb2312 and I see what I typed.

	So, I'm 90% happy.  My room mate still thinks it's crap next to
windows, but I'm hoping I can convince him to use linux or something when
he goes home.

	Right, now KDE.  Where do I set it up as an XIM client?  Is there
an Xresource for the panel, or for the libkde or something?  I get no
response from any text input fields, no matter how many
shift-alt-ctrl-space combinations I try.
